2baconil® nicotine gum is a form of Nicotine Replacement Therapy which is used in Tobacco Cessation (Stop Smoking Programs). The 2baconil® nicotine gum will help you in controlling your withdrawal symptoms and cravings for smoking, chewing gutka and other tobacco products. The gum will also help you in gradually reducing your addiction over an extended period of time.

When you are trying to quit smoking or chewing gutka, you must clearly understand that there are two sides to be considered during the treatment.

Firstly, you should consider the psychological implication, where you are habituated to consume tobacco with different things and have triggers associated with it. For eg: On waking up, while drinking drink tea/coffee, post lunch, while drinking alcohol, etc. For quitting tobacco successfully, you have to be determined to overcome these triggers which associate you with smoking/chewing gutka.

Secondly, you should consider the physical need. You have been continuously feeding your body with harmful tobacco nicotine over the years, and now your body is finding it difficult to control the urge. Through the 2baconil® Nicotine gum, you body will keep receiving harmless remedial nicotine to help you control your nicotine craving. This way, 2baconil® Nicotine Gum helps you to abstain from your habit and quit smoking or chewing tobacco over a period of time.

2baconil® Nicotine gums is available in 2 strengths: 2 mg and 4 mg.

2 mg is appropriate for those who smoke less than 20 cigarettes per day

4 mg is appropriate for those who smoke 20 or more cigarettes per day.

Please Note – 2 mg: Do not use more than 24 pieces of gum per day, 4 mg: As advised by the doctor.

One piece of gum every 2–4 hours

WEEKS 10–12

One piece of gum every 4–8 hours

The method of chewing the nicotine gum is quite different from that for ordinary chewing gum. Use the following steps to ensure that you extract maximum benefit from the gum.

Step 1: Chew it slowly till you get the taste of remedial nicotine

Step 2: Place it between your cheek and gums

Step 3: When the taste fades, repeat step 1

DO NOT spit out the saliva! That is what will deliver the remedial nicotine to your body!

Yes, 2baconil® gum is formulated with an artificial sweetener and, so, it is sugar-free.

When you eat food or drink a beverage immediately before using or during use of 2baconil® gum, it will inhibit the absorption of remedial nicotine into your bloodstream. That’s why we strongly recommend waiting a full 15 minutes after eating or drinking and then begin 2baconil® nicotine gum.

Normally, 2baconil Patch or Gum alone do provide enough remedial nicotine to help most people control and ultimately get over their craving for consuming tobacco in any form. However, some people may discover that even though they are undergoing nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) they still experience intense or frequent cravings that they find difficult to cope with. Combination therapy has indeed shown to be effective but, we strongly recommend you consult your doctor before initiating any combination therapy.

If you under medication for any condition, you should consult your doctor about any possible drug interactions between the medications and undergoing nicotine gum therapy.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we strongly advise that you only use 2baconil® gum after consulting and getting a go-ahead from your doctor.

It’s quite possible that 2baconil® gum may stick to dental caps or partial bridges, so we suggest you consult your dentist if you experience any discomfort while chewing the gum in the way it should be chewed during the nicotine therapy.
